Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Job Description
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists to join our team. The ideal candidate is a clinician passionate about working with a diverse population in Placer County and the Sacramento Region. We are looking for someone with experience in trauma and family systems. We value professional growth and actively promote work/life balance. Our organization offers opportunities for training and certification in EMDR, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Internal Family Systems.
Our company has established partnerships with several insurance providers. We will credential you with our contracted partners. The minimum case load required is 20 clients per week, with an allocation of 10 paid hours designated for progress notes, outreach, research, and team meetings. We emphasize the importance of alignment in our mission and approaches, which is why in-house training will be offered to enhance your proficiency in various theories and modalities.
After 90 days, we will offer health/vision/dental benefits.
Duties
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments to individual, couples, and families
- Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy sessions
- Develop treatment plans tailored to each client's specific needs
- Offer crisis intervention and management as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Licensed in California as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
- Spanish speaking preferred.
- Knowledge of clinical terminology, ICD-10 coding, and clinical research practices
- Familiarity with crisis management techniques and diagnostic evaluation procedures

Duties

Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments to individual, couples, and families.

Provide virtual and in-person clinical counseling services to clients of Benessere Marriage and Family Therapy, Inc as scheduled, adhering to company policies.

Maintain a caseload of 20 clients per week with the flexibility to set your own schedule working in our office in Roseville or remotely from your home (must be flexible to work some days in office and remote)

Attend regularly scheduled supervision with Clinical Supervisor monthly clinical trainings.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients

Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Requirements

Maintain an active Associate status in the State of California with the BBS.

Must comply with laws and regulations, and ethical standards including those of the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.

Ability to provide services to clients in an ethical, legal, and professional manner.

Proficiency in integrating clinical theories into your practice.
