What We Treat
Anxiety
Anxiety is a natural response to stress, acting as a protective mechanism that alerts us to potential dangers and encourages preparedness. Although it can be uncomfortable, anxiety is essential to human life, cultivating traits such as conscientiousness and planning. However, anxiety disorders differ significantly from typical nervousness; they are characterized by excessive fear and apprehension.
Depression
Research indicates that there are numerous potential causes of depression, including irregular mood regulation by the brain, genetic factors, personality traits, and stressful life events. It is widely believed that there is no single cause of depression—such as the absence of a "happy gene." Instead, multiple factors often interact to contribute to its onset. Each individual's causes and triggers can vary significantly.
Family Conflict
Conflict may arise when family members hold differing views or beliefs that collide. Additionally, misunderstandings can lead to conflicts, as individuals might jump to incorrect conclusions about one another. If such issues are not resolved peacefully, they can escalate into arguments and foster lingering resentment.
Trauma
Trauma is a very pervasive problem that arises from experiencing incidents or a series of events that are emotionally distressing or life-threatening. Such experiences can have lasting negative effects on an individual's functioning and overall well-being, impacting their mental, physical, social, emotional, and spiritual health.
PTSD

It is entirely normal to experience fear during and after such an event. Fear is an integral part of the body’s “fight-or-flight” response, which prepares us to either confront or evade potential threats. Individuals may exhibit a variety of reactions following trauma, and most recover from initial symptoms over time. However, those who continue to face challenges may receive a diagnosis of PTSD.
